"Buy on Google", Amazon, Zalando, Cdiscount, ManoMano, Etsy, AliExpress, Farfetch, Conforama, La Redoute, OTTO, Delamaison or Le BHV, marketplaces are multiplying to reach a critical size.

Indeed, the strength of marketplaces is to offer a very large inventory. By pooling the "strengths" of smaller merchants, conversion rates increase, because each Internet user finds the product they were looking for, even on broad queries (short tail) such as "sofas" or "coat".

However, when selling through a marketplace, you must meet its constraints and requirements, such as fast delivery and a high customer satisfaction rate. Also, it is then more difficult to build your own customer base in the long term.
